Construction Quantification Specialist



Our company is seeking a highly skilled Construction Quantification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist the QS Manager / Project Manager in handling and calculating the quantity and costing of different tender assignments.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist QS Manager / Project Manager in handling and calculating the quantity and costing of different tender assignments.
  2. Review supplier/contractor quotations or proposals and ensure all requirements are met.
  3. Understand general contracts and various tender documents.
  4. Provide budget costs or estimates as per instruction.
  5. Liaise with suppliers for their products and services presentation.
  6. Solve technical problems during tender.
  7. Communicate with other departments in dealing with various documents and issues.
  8. Coordinate with the supplier/contractor regarding follow-up on bills and quantities.
  9. Evaluate and check market unit rates monthly/quarterly for material and labour cost.
  10. Hand over all tender documents and costing to the project team once the tender is awarded.
  11. Attend site showrounds for tenders of interest.
  12. Reply to tender clarification, prepare for tender interviews and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Singaporean and SPR only.
  • Diploma in M&E/Electrical Engineering, with 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Work experience in subcontractor environments is an advantage.
