Tender Manager Job Description

The role of a Tender Manager is multifaceted, requiring strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of the construction industry.

Job Summary: As a key member of our team, you will oversee the entire tendering process, from pre-qualification to final submission. Your expertise will ensure that all tender proposals align with company capabilities and financial objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Oversee Tendering Process: You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the entire tendering process, including reviewing tender documents, project specifications, and contract terms.
  • Prepare and Compile Proposals: Prepare and compile technical and commercial proposals, ensuring all submission requirements are met.
  • Negotiate Pricing Agreements: Negotiate and finalize pricing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Manage Risk: Identify and evaluate potential risks in tenders, including technical, contractual, and financial aspects.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate documentation and records of tender submissions, correspondences, and approvals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Architecture / Structure / M&E / Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 10 Years Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on project tendering.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and tender submission processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent cost management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Glodon and tendering software.
