Job Description

The Regional Director, Marine Asia will lead the development and execution of strategic growth plans for marine insurance solutions across Asia.

This role is responsible for driving business expansion, fostering client and market relationships, ensuring technical excellence, and championing innovation in alignment with regional and global objectives.

The Regional Director will drive the delivery of client and revenue growth plans for marine risks in Asia, developing sales strategies to ensure a clear path to aggressive growth.

They will collaborate with retail teams on broking strategy for key clients, considering local markets and global expertise where required.

Support responses to quotations and tenders from Aon's regional network of offices in Asia, providing technical support and training as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement for registration with MAS or a similar qualification acceptable to MAS
  • Proven track record within the marine insurance industry
  • Technical skills around insurance policy interpretation and drafting and/or marine risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with country and specialty colleagues as well as clients and insurers
  • Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
