Senior Geotechnical Business Leader


Job Description:

The role of Senior Geotechnical Business Leader is to drive regional business development and strategic growth in geotechnical and offshore projects. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for defining and executing the regional geotechnical business strategy in alignment with company objectives.

You will lead business development, bid/tender strategy, and client engagement for high-value projects across civil, marine, and reclamation sectors. You will act as the primary client interface, building strategic relationships with developers, government agencies, and contractors.

As a technical expert, you will provide insight and guidance to support project proposals, feasibility studies, and contract negotiations. You will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic business decisions.

Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and key stakeholder meetings. Support the Managing Director and Executive Committee with reports, KPIs, and strategic recommendations for regional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the regional geotechnical business strategy.
  • Lead business development, bid/tender strategy, and client engagement for high-value projects.
  • Act as the primary client interface, building strategic relationships.
  • Provide technical insight and guidance to support project proposals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Master's in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering; professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in geotechnical engineering, including strategic business development and senior client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical, offshore, marine, or reclamation projects.
  • Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
