IT Platform Specialist

Job Summary:

As an IT platform specialist, you will be responsible for the deployment, management, and maintenance of client platforms to meet agreed business needs and service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and configure new client platforms to meet business requirements.
  • Manage and maintain existing client platforms to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for client platform-related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and implement technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT platform management.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
  • Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Hardware components (CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, etc.).
  • Customer Support.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
