FRP Products Co., Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll and HR Officer to join our team in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all payroll matters for a headcount of approximately 800 employees. This includes the creation and maintenance of employee data, as well as the processing of monthly payrolls and overtime payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prompt and accurate monthly payroll and overtime processing, ensuring timely submission of reports to relevant authorities
  • Preparation of payroll reports for internal use and external submission
  • Processing government claims, including Employee Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave, and In-Camp Training
  • Attending to regulatory surveys, audits, and system reviews
  • Reviewing and ensuring payroll procedures align with corporate governance controls
  • Assisting with the preparation of salary and allowances budget and reviews
  • Leave administration and coordination
  • Submission of employees' yearly income to IRAS (IR8A & IR21)
  • Liaising with Operations to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
  • Participating in the implementation of new systems
  • Supporting other financial reporting functions and ad-hoc projects
  • Employee Data Management and Maintenance
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with payroll software
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly IRAs
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
