Job Title: Retail Area Manager
About This Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced retail professional to lead and manage our retail outlets.
- This role involves overseeing the performance of multiple outlets, driving sales growth, and improving profitability.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and guide store managers, and possess excellent communication skills.
- You will also be responsible for evaluating and improving manpower scheduling plans, maintaining employee productivity levels, and enforcing cost control measures.
- In addition, you will ensure compliance with cash handling and management procedures, manage new outlet openings, and assess business processes to recommend improvements.
- This role requires a proactive approach to customer service issues, collaboration with store managers on sales promotions, and preparing regular business reports for stakeholders.
- You will also oversee the training and development of new employees, counsel and discipline as needed, and approve HR matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage 10 outlets to drive team performance, maximize sales, and increase profitability.
- Evaluate and improve manpower scheduling plans created by Store Managers to meet sales needs and labor targets.
- Maintain employee productivity levels and enforce effective cost control across all outlet areas.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling and management procedures in the outlets.
- Manage and supervise the operations of newly opened outlets in the area.
- Assess existing business processes and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Inform the Operations team of any operational inconsistencies.
- Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Store Managers to plan and execute sales promotions effectively.
- Respond proactively to customer service issues and resolve them promptly.
- Oversee the training and development of new employees, ensuring proper follow-up and assessment of their progress.
- Counsel and discipline employees as needed, while also conducting regular reviews of their work performance.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly business reports to stakeholders.
- Approve HR matters, including leave applications and other personnel-related requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving sales growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
