About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. This includes:
- Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director
- Operating various office-related systems, including HR/File Management/Billing/CRM/eLitigation
- Assisting in Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
- Managing monthly billing
- Liaising with international offices, suppliers, banks, and government bodies
- Preparing presentations, reports, submissions, and other communications
- Onboarding and offboarding clients and staff
- Providing customer service support, including answering and directing phone calls
- Performing general office duties, such as filing and photocopying
- Contributing to projects and completing ad-hoc tasks
- Renewing lawyers' annual practising certificates and insurance
- Working with the bookkeeper to process Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, corporate tax returns, and annual compliance audits
