About the Position
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, industry experts, and ASMI members. This role requires a strong understanding of the marine sector's challenges and opportunities, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective strategies for decarbonisation and innovation.

Main Responsibilities
This role encompasses several key responsibilities, including:

• Supporting the Sustainability & Innovation Committee (SIC) by promoting decarbonisation, advancing renewable energy adoption, and facilitating transformation towards a low-emissions future economy
• Administering the Marine Decarbonisation Champions (MDC) Programme, coordinating collateral activities, and engaging external stakeholders towards programme objectives
• Organising the annual Marine and Offshore (M&O) Symposium, showcasing innovative efforts and initiatives in the marine sector, and engaging ASMI members and other external stakeholders towards symposium objectives
• Providing general administration support, including grant writing, undertaking special projects, and assisting with other ASMI events and activities as required

Key Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of the marine sector and its challenges. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in a related role are preferred.
