The Market Development Specialist is a critical position within the People Profilers organization, responsible for driving business growth and expansion through effective market development strategies.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, developing and executing strategic plans to achieve business growth and profitability, and collaborating with senior management to align business development strategies with company goals.

This includes conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends, analyzing competitor activities and market conditions to refine and implement business development strategies, and staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

The Market Development Specialist will also be responsible for generating leads through networking, referrals, and other business development activities, developing and implementing strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base, and building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.

In addition, the Market Development Specialist will prepare and present business proposals and contracts to potential clients, negotiate terms and conditions to secure favorable agreements, monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business development activities, and provide reports and updates on progress towards business development goals.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, negotiating, and presentation skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of food manufacturing processes and a great interest in the Plant Based Beverages market.
