Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction cost estimator/quantity surveyor to join our team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform taking off and measurement of quantities from drawings and specifications, and prepare detailed estimates for construction projects.
- Source, review, and negotiate quotations with suppliers and contractors to ensure best value for money.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project success.
- Attend project meetings, site visits, and progress claims evaluations to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate project delivery.
- Administer contracts, handle documentation, correspondence, and disputes matters to protect the interests of all parties involved.
- Manage, evaluate, and submit monthly progress claims and variation claims to consultants and stakeholders.
