Cost Estimator/Quantity Surveyor Role

Description

A challenging position is available for a skilled Cost Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to work in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will possess experience in cost estimation and quantity surveying, along with strong analytical and numerical skills.

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitive estimates.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases and estimation models.
  • Present cost reports and pricing strategies to management and clients.
  • Support tender submissions and bid proposals.
  • Adjust estimates based on scope changes and client feedback.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in HVAC, M&E, or construction sectors.
  • Familiarity with estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
