We are a leading specialist player in the measurement of flare gas and emissions. With over 50 years of experience, our solutions are extensively used in Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, and LNG production.
The Business Development Manager, APAC will drive new and existing customer & distributor relationships in the region to increase market share through market, product, and partner diversification.
About the Role
This is a hands-on sales role, responsible for driving direct and distributor sales of flare measurement technologies into demanding industries such as O&G and petrochemicals.
- Leading sales in APAC by bringing new O&G relationships to the group
- Managing existing distributor and direct relationships
- Building a strategic growth plan for the business
- Targeting regional EPC companies to enlist on their approved vendor lists
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify and convert cross-selling opportunities in other geographic regions
- Having a strong understanding of competitors in the industry and identifying potential market expansion
- Owning the regional business plan covering inventory and production
- Providing market insights to the product management team to ensure the business is innovating to suit customer needs
- Quarterly reporting to the Group Managing Director on market risks, opportunities, and forecasting
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Masters' or Bachelors' Degree in mechanical, industrial, or a related technical discipline
- Four or more years in selling flare measurement technologies to heavy industries, with at least two years in an APAC role
- Strong distributor relationships in the region
- Existing network for Oil & Gas, petrochemicals customers with at least two years of selling to enterprise clients
- Experience in driving consistent double-digit growth for high-value products, with a strong knowledge of CRM tools
