PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.

Responsibilities
  1. Actively hunt new sales opportunities to achieve stipulated sales targets set by PSA BDP.
  2. Proactively generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals to expand customer base.
  3. Be knowledgeable in freight forwarding transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams within PSA BDP.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including shippers, freight forwarders, manufacturers, and distributors.
  6. Understand customers' needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements.
  7. Input and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system and build up a healthy pipeline.
  8. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  9. Drive and lead the RFQ process.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 3 years' sales/business development experience in Logistics/Freight-forwarding.
  • Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, and vendors.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Great negotiation, consultative, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical, and deal well under pressure.
