Marketing and Audience Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing and Audience Development Manager to join our team at the National Arts Council (NAC). As a key member of our Marketing and Audience Development department, you will play a critical role in advocating for and amplifying the value and importance of the arts through various communications efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement initiatives and campaigns to grow arts audience attendance and participation, as well as advocate for the appreciation of the value of the arts.
- Develop, implement, and manage a CRM programme to build loyalty and enhance audience relationships.
- Plan and implement holistic and sustainable 360-degree integrated marketing communications strategies and campaigns to attract, sustain, and retain diverse audience segments.
- Work on branding, creative campaigns, and messaging to ensure strong and consistent brand positioning for the Council and its programmes, projects, and initiatives.
- Analyse audience data and insights to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for growth to support and advance the Council's work.
- Monitor, report, and establish best practices on audience metrics and performance of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies and tactics to ensure alignment with KPIs.
- Provide strategic counsel to designated accounts in the areas of branding, marketing campaign management, and administrative protocols, so that department officers are well-advised and equipped in programme/project implementation.
- Identify and leverage marketing opportunities through partnerships.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant work experience in corporate, digital, and marketing communications, with experience in branding and arts marketing desirable.
- Strong organisational and project management and management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player, able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and CRM tools.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms and social media management.
- Good networking capabilities.
- Knowledge and passion for the local arts and culture scene.
