Job Title: Senior Officer

Role Overview

  • Manage interest risk, liquidity risk, and market risk in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure timely completion of daily monitoring, monthly, and quarterly tasks for internal and Head Office stakeholders.
  2. Identify and address data quality issues with relevant stakeholders, including Treasury and Management.
  3. Maintain and review policies and processes to ensure alignment with Local and Head Office requirements.
  4. Monitor relevant risk indicators within defined limits.
  5. Provide analytical support for relevant stakeholders.
  6. Assess risk drivers and their impact on liquidity positions.
  7. Ensure smooth transition during system integration and report accuracy after new system migration.
  8. Address issues raised by auditors and MAS relating to market risk, liquidity risk, and interest risk.
  9. Undertake ad-hoc projects and other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • A recognized degree is required.
  • Minimum 4 years of market/liquidity/interest risk experience in the Banking Industry is necessary.
  • Good understanding of market/liquidity/interest risk regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Meticulous, versatile, good interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary.
  • Skilled at handling data and proficient in using VBA and other data processing tools.
  • Familiar with Bloomberg system.
