Job Summary:
Medical Support Specialist- We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:Triage and Escalation:
- Attend to medical queries received via a 24/7 integrated telephone hotline.
- Triage all calls and obtain relevant medical information for escalation to the VCC Nurse or VCC Doctor.
Documentation and Follow-up:
- Capture all calls' information accurately in the call system and NGEMR (EPIC).
- Follow up on clinical calls after 2 weeks to review patient's disposition.
Collaboration and Development:
- Participate in activities contributing towards improvement of patient care, including professional development sessions.
- Participate in projects and/or community events organized by hospital.
Education and Experience:
- Min. Nitec/Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Nursing, Social Work, or Allied Health.
- Min. 1-2 years relevant experience in contact centre/patient service associate.
Skills and Abilities:
- Pleasant disposition, approachable, with strong interpersonal and relational skills.
