Executive Director of Talent Development

Job Title: Senior Executive, Talent Management
About the RoleAs a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our organization's talent strategy forward. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the identification, development, and retention of high-potential employees.
Talent Review & Development:
- SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION'S TALENT REVIEWS, ASSESSMENTS, AND SUCCESSION PLANNING TO IDENTIFY HIGH-POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES
- Ensure proper follow-through on talent review actions, focusing on key positions and succession plans
Succession Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the continuity of our organization's leadership pipeline
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and develop key talent
Pipeline Programs:
- Design and manage talent pipeline programs such as sponsorships and management associate programmes
- Analyze data to inform program development and optimize results
Competency Frameworks:
- Develop functional competency frameworks that align with business needs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and define key competencies
Development Programs:
- Design and oversee development programs such as mentorships and leadership training
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
HR Policies:
- Create and implement policies that improve talent attraction, development, and retention
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless policy implementation
Data & Analytics:
- Analyze talent data to guide decision-making for management
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key metrics and trends
Facilitation Skills:
- Design, implement, and manage internal programs that enhance employee engagement, professional development, and organizational culture
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in talent management
- Strong understanding of talent assessment tools and development strategies
- Comfortable working with data and preparing presentations for senior management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident in facilitating programs/meetings
