Job Description: As a Senior Food Business Development Manager at Sovereign's Capital, you will lead and develop a high-performing team to drive engagement with existing and potential new food merchants. Your role involves working with the team to achieve performance goals and forming stronger relationships with partners through collaboration across different business verticals.

The day-to-day activities include:
  • Work with the Head of Commercial (Food) on business development strategy.
  • Identify gaps and unlock opportunities with our food merchants to drive market share and revenue growth.
  • Motivate the team to meet or exceed targets specific to GMV, revenue, and successfully execute cross-functional initiatives.


To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management, business development, partnerships, or equivalent roles. You must have strong communication skills in both written and spoken English, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with various personalities and teams.
