Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned talent development expert to drive strategic growth and innovation within our organization. This role requires a leader who can develop and communicate effective skills-based strategies, foster high-performance teams, and drive business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement skills-based organization strategies that align with the overall vision and priorities, informed by an understanding of evolving talent requirements and trends.
  • Establish strategic priorities and roadmap aligned with business goals, demonstrate an understanding of talent requirements across different functional organizations, cultures, and locations, and provide leadership to enable agile deployment of skills, driving business priorities and career mobility.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into talent development strategies to equip team members with necessary AI skills, driving innovation, efficiency, and productivity improvements.
  • Serve as a thought leader by applying knowledge and providing strategic guidance that enhances talent pipeline development, ensures continuous improvement of skills programs/initiatives, maintains accuracy and quality, meets critical deliverables, aligns programs with organizational priorities, makes impactful decisions, handles sensitive information/communications, and provides long-term recommendations for new programs/initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships and strategic partnerships through identifying, recommending, and implementing scalable talent solutions/interventions with stakeholders within the organization and across key stakeholders to maximize effectiveness and influence.
  • Lead and foster high-performance teams that deliver consistent and successful programs/initiatives that lead to career growth opportunities.
  • Recommend, design, and implement measurement and evaluation strategies to assess impact and outcomes; suggest actions based on data analysis.
  • Stay informed of industry skills developments and best practices to inform talent development programs/initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in talent development, learning & development, human resources, procurement, or a related field, including demonstrated leadership experience.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; a master's degree in human resources, applied psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and implementing talent programs and consulting with leaders to identify appropriate development experiences and solutions to improve individual and team effectiveness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and cultivate collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels; strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to balance big-picture thinking to define strategy while staying on top of details to translate and cascade strategic vision into actionable plans and achieve priorities.
