About the Role
We are seeking a strong leader to drive our sales and marketing strategy for Asian operations, managing sales goals, programs and materials.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Determine effective sales and marketing strategies for Asia growth
- Strengthen existing channel partnerships and identify new opportunities
- Work with headquarters to establish structure and operating plans for Asia
- Collaborate with corporate marketing to tailor marketing efforts for the Asian market
- Manage localization efforts and implement training policies and procedures
- Incorporate business value into partner value propositions and ROI metrics
- Be responsible for services partner funnel and forecasting process
- Work with partners to deliver win-win business growth and promote new sales opportunities
- Plan and execute cost-effective travel itineraries and maintain accurate sales contact records
Requisite Education/ Experience
- University graduate with at least 10 years relevant experience, 5 in sales or marketing management
- Strong knowledge of the Asia Pacific region
- Experience working within multinational corporations with cultural sensitivity
- Prior experience developing marketing strategies, pricing, programs and events
- Channel experience and connections within VAR, System Integrator and OEM communities
- Engaged in managing multiple channel accounts
- Personable, relationship-oriented with organizational skills
- Excellent conflict resolution abilities
- Fluent Japanese language skills
