Low Carbon Energy Sector Business Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to originate new business opportunities and drive growth in the low carbon energy sector.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing new contracts in the cooling sector and possess creative and innovation thinking skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans, staying abreast of technology trends, and managing end-to-end innovation processes from strategy to business plans.
Additionally, the role requires strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients in the low carbon energy sector, as well as the ability to develop and strengthen these connections.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team and make a meaningful impact in driving innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Originate new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to achieve them
- Stay abreast of technology trends and foresights, and translate these into insightful reports
- Manage end-to-end innovation process from strategy, ideation, development to business plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients in the low carbon energy sector
- Support regional markets on CaaS pursuits as part of Central team in Singapore
- Degree in Engineering, Science or technologically-related fields with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity with technology trends and innovation drivers in high-side cooling systems and industry best practices
- Creative and innovation thinking with proven track record of energy transition success in securing new contracts in cooling sector
- Solid commercial understanding with basic financial modelling, payback period analysis, etc.
- Passion for new technologies and technical acumen to evaluate their relevance in sustainability and energy efficiency
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
