We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Avenue K PTE. LTD.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious chef to take on a leadership role in our kitchen, overseeing daily food preparation, managing ingredients, and collaborating with our Head and Sous Chefs to deliver high-quality dishes to our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Food Preparation:

  • Plan and execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues.
  • Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.

Kitchen Operations:

  • Follow the directions of the executive and sous chef.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Suggest new ways of presentation of dishes and procedures for optimizing the cooking process.
  • Give attention productivity of the kitchen such as speed and food quality.

Team Management:

  • Collaborate with the Head and Sous Chef to lead the culinary team.
  • Develop and implement effective kitchen policies and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma or Qualification from a culinary school.
  • Past experience working in a similar role.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills as well as multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation.
  • Passion for delivering great food and service.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of SGD $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical insurance, annual leave, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Average salary for an Executive Chef de Partie in Singapore is around SGD $50,000 per annum.
