Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Excellence: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards and recipes. Ensure all dishes are presented in an appealing manner, taking into account color, texture, and garnish.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment, ingredients, and staff are properly managed to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on dishes, ingredients, and kitchen practices to ensure consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels and ingredient usage.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other chefs, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations, effective communication, and a positive team dynamic.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations in the kitchen, ensuring proper food storage and handling practices, and maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Culinary Innovation: Contribute ideas for new dishes, menu items, and cooking techniques, staying updated on culinary trends and industry developments.
About the Role:
