HR Partnership

The ideal candidate will provide strategic HR support to stakeholders and employees in a proactive and consultative manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting HR Business Partners in partnering with stakeholders and employees on a full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, and talent development.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and the HR Centre of Excellence in delivering key HR projects, including policy and process reviews, employee engagement surveys, people development programs, change management plans, and promotional exercises.
  • Providing professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, recruitment processes, performance management, and recruitment and rewards strategies.

Job Scope:

HR Policies, Processes and Systems

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems, and communications to enhance service experience. This includes educating People Managers and employees on policy/system changes and implications, as well as understanding and gathering their feedback and input.

Operational Excellence and Support

  • Partnering with HR Business Partners on various HR matters, including supporting manpower planning and projection of staff, collaborating with Shared Services on job postings, and maintaining and updating Faculty, MSO, and Research Staff information databases.
  • Conducting effective induction and orientation sessions to accelerate the integration of new staff into the unit(s).
  • Supporting staff welfare initiatives in unit(s).
