Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales and events strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and pursue sales and events opportunities, forecasting projected business and establishing targeted sales goals.
- Support sales operations and general business policies, interacting with managers and employees to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Develop and submit detailed budgets for sales and events activities, recommending selling prices and monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
- Provide recommendations to operations and management for improving the quality of sales programs, maintaining a positive relationship with employees and managers.
- Achieve sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Prepare and complete action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, and determining system improvements.
- Sustain relationships with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to assess current projections and continually assess marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales.
- Stay up-to-date on current market trends and perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales and Events or business administration degrees.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and events management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong financial planning and budgetary skills.
- Confident and dynamic personality.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Good in Strategic Marketing concepts and creative services.
- Good business awareness including external markets and competitor positions.
- High coaching skills to maintain a positive and supportive role with Restaurant Managers and teams.
- Highly cooperative team spirit.
The job of the Events Manager may require long working hours and frequent visits to different lounge locations.
