The Senior Learning Specialist plays a pivotal role in elevating staff capabilities across the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning, excellence, and values-driven development.
Main Responsibilities:- Programme Coordination & Delivery:
- Facilitate training programmes in an engaging and learner-centric manner, using interactive techniques to connect with diverse audiences and enhance participation.
- Support the planning, coordination, and administration of learning programmes for staff across roles.
- Liaise with internal facilitators, external trainers, and sector partners to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Content Development & Curation:
- Design and develop learning content grounded in adult learning principles, ensuring relevance, interactivity, and learner autonomy.
- Curate accessible and inclusive learning resources to support learning at all levels of the organisation.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
- Maintain and update courses on the LMS, track learning participation and completion, and generate data reports for internal use.
- Provide technical support to staff with varying levels of digital literacy.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:
- Apply learning evaluation frameworks to measure training effectiveness and report return on investment for key learning initiatives.
- Help track training hours, competencies developed, and other L&D indicators to inform organisational capability-building efforts.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a learning support liaison for staff and supervisors, responding to queries and guiding them toward relevant learning pathways.
- Support organisation-wide learning campaigns and events.
- Support the facilitation of organisational transformation initiatives.
