Position Overview:

As a Senior Sales Executive at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives within the Singapore market. Your primary focus will be on enhancing revenue streams and fostering growth for our Fisher Scientific Channel business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at broadening our customer base and elevating market presence.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead the sales team, promoting a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive assessments to uncover new business prospects.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiations and finalizing agreements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Partner with both in-house and external suppliers to deliver a comprehensive value proposition to our clients.
  • Performance Analytics: Develop metrics to evaluate the success of sales strategies and coach the team on Salesforce effectiveness KPIs.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the team to create and implement a 5-year Strategic Plan (STRAP) upon receiving necessary approvals.
  • Customer Engagement: Monitor and enhance share of wallet metrics for all clients.
Qualifications:

Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline is preferred, with an MBA being advantageous.

Experience: A proven history of success in sales, with a minimum of 10 years in a comparable position.

Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on driving a high-performance sales team.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Work Ethic: A proactive and driven approach to achieving and exceeding objectives.

Market Competitiveness: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving market environment.
