We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Banking Expert to manage relationships with large Chinese corporates and deliver customized corporate banking solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing tailored corporate banking solutions such as trade finance, corporate loans, and cash management services.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to drive business growth across various banking products and services.
- Prepare and present detailed credit proposals and financial assessments in Mandarin and English, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and manage a credit portfolio, applying sound credit risk management practices.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (credit, compliance, operations) to structure deals that meet client needs.
- Stay updated on the latest market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor activities impacting Chinese large corporates.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager or similar, with a focus on handling Chinese large corporates.
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, including trade finance, loan syndication, cash management, and cross-border financing.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin is essential, both written and spoken, as you will need to prepare credit papers and communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
- Proven track record in managing credit portfolios, assessing financials, and preparing in-depth financial analyses.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills to build long-lasting client partnerships.
