Business Project Manager, DBS Globesend
Your mission is to make Globesend the preferred choice of cross-border payments for individuals and SME globally. As a business project manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering Globesend's success. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to detail, plan, and execute the business project to deliver innovative products and services on time. These offerings will be key to achieving our mission of making Globesend the preferred platform for convenient, fast and secure global money transfers.
Responsibilities
i. Creating project plans covering all aspects that needs to come together for the business launch and tracking various activities needed for project execution.
ii. Engage fully with the project sponsor, influence and manage stakeholder expectations by monitoring progress against the plan and issuing regular communication updates and budget overviews.
iii. Coordinate and assist in driving teams to work cross-functionally to deliver project milestones in a timely fashion. Take on coordination and organizational tasks within the business unit and manage own workload including accurate effort estimating.
iv. Establishing project governance, develop and drive project management best practices within the team.
v. Assist in conducting weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cadences, setting up meetings, sharing MOMs and conducting project governance calls.
vi. Creating dashboard and ppts for progress of the project/program with Senior stakeholders.
vii. Identify risks and escalate issues that impact scope, time, cost, quality, and benefits in a timely manner.
viii. Work with the Globesend location heads to ensure that the business progress is reviewed regularly and compared against plan and key Globesend initiatives are tracked closely for delivery
ix. With the help of various country and regional stakeholders, organize and maintain a repository of key competitor landscape, regulation governing cross border remittance business that will aid to the development of new tactical strategies and business pivot.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
