We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will focus on our most important asset, our people. This role is responsible for engaging, training and developing our people, working closely with the HR Manager (TA) to make Chab Events an amazing place to work.

Engagement Responsibilities:

  • Measure Employee Engagement across the organisation, and design creative initiatives to increase engagement.
  • Work with the Senior HR Manager to manage the onboarding process to ensure new joiners are onboarded quickly & smoothly
  • Craft various initiatives and events that encourage a fun and positive work environment, where employees feel valued and appreciated
  • Manage team bonding activities & schedule, delivering engaging and creative experiences.

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Handle HR administration functions
  • Assist the Finance department with monthly Payroll
  • Benefit & Welfare Administration
  • Onboarding & offboarding
  • Handling queries relating to HR matters
  • Raise contracts, promotion and salary related official letters
  • Manage HRIS System (leave allowances, engagement activities, compliance etc)
  • Prepare weekly reports for senior management on key HR Analytics
  • Manage work pass application & renewal process
  • Liaise with MOM & other government entities relating to labour law, surveys, grants etc
  • Adhering to employment laws and ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Liaise with IT service provider for IT related set up & any issues

Must haves

  • More than 6 years of HR experience, with a minimum 3 years experience in a Generalist / Operational HR role.
  • Ability to manage in all directions
  • A positive, proactive can do attitude, with a solution oriented approach
  • Experience delivering training advantageous
  • Expert communicator, fluency in English essential
  • The ability to motivate and inspire others
  • The willingness to work in a fast paced environment, with high levels of ambiguity

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience, or an interest, in the events & creative industries
  • Formal HR qualification (CIPD, IHRP or equivalent)
