Job Descriptions:
HR Matters
Responsible for the Singapore office employees' life cycle matters
- Full spectrum of recruitment, including approaching potential candidates via LinkedIn or cold calls to candidates, selection, and salary negotiation process.
- Liaise with various institutes to bring in interns for various in-house projects.
- Strategic planning for employer branding
- Employee Records, employee management, Onboarding and offboarding matters
- Employee group insurance and WICA renewal
- Full spectrum of payroll calculation, CPF submission, and income tax submission
- Work passes applications and renewal for foreign workers
- Policies maintenance - employee handbook, SOP etc
- Responsible for communication and coordination with relevant HQ stakeholders in China
- Any other HR-related matters
Office Matters
Support China HQ team for all matters in Singapore
- Office: Manage office-related matters such as pantry restocking, mails, stationery restocks, office rental etc.
- Liaise with government sectors for various grants opportunities and startups support.
- Administration: Assist in liaising with the corporate secretary for office administration matters
- Sales Admin: Taking care of stocks in the Singapore warehouse and arranging for shipment to clients' addresses whenever needed
- Digital Marketing: Assist in managing social media accounts and assist in uploading content, mainly on LinkedIn to also boost employer branding
- Finance: Assist in checking bank reconciliation and updating the finance team on the updates, Liaising with the auditor for audit matters, Assist in payments related to Singapore operations, and Act as main liaison between management and Singapore's bank.
- Project Management: Assist to oversees progress of employees for various projects.
- Any other ad-hoc matters as assigned by HQ team.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Mandarin is a must as you will need to work closely with Chinese stakeholders
- Bachelor degree or above, major in human resources, business administration, etc
- Preferably IHRP-CP Certified
- At least 3 years and above HR and office admin operational experience, preferably in Startup environment
- Strong Knowledge of Singapore Labor/ employment laws.
- Excellent organizational skills, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail.
- Self-reliant, self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently.
- With can-do attitude and strong problem solving skills
- Strong change management skills to facilitate discussions around change and transformation when required
Gargantua Robot Pte Ltd is a newly set up Singapore office for a China-based robotic company. We are building a team in Singapore to cater to the international customers that we've gained over the years.
Working location: One North
Working hours: Monday - Friday, between 9am - 10am to 6pm - 7pm
