
Business Development Executive – Indonesia Market

Our client is a regional leader in power and propulsion systems, specializing in the distribution and servicing of diesel engines, turbochargers, and rotating machinery used across the marine, offshore, and industrial sectors. With decades of experience and strong partnerships with global OEMs, they provide mission-critical parts, maintenance, and technical support to keep vessels and equipment running at peak performance.
They are now seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to drive growth in the Indonesia market.
What You'll Do
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in Indonesia.
- Build and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs, provide solutions and support, and respond to proposals and inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, pipelines, and sales administration.
- Work with the Sales Director on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
- Travel to customer sites, industry events, and tradeshows to promote products and services.
- Provide regular market updates and insights to the team, including presentations on developments in Indonesia.
- Conduct market research, including data gathering on vehicle population and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
- Strong interest in business development and client engagement.
- As the role will require daily collaboration with Indonesian clients, they must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Technical background, preferably in engineering, is an advantage.
- Comfortable with frequent overseas travel and engaging with clients across different regions.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn with a collaborative team spirit.
