About IM30

IM30 is a global gaming company on a mission to make time more interesting. Founded in 2015 by a group of passionate gamers, we've grown into an international team behind popular strategy titles like Last Shelter: Survival and Rise of Empires.

As we continue to expand globally, Singapore is becoming our new international headquarters. At IM30, we value action over talk, openness over hierarchy, and speed over perfection.

Role Overview

We are building a strong localization and player engagement function—and we're looking for a Localization & Community Manager to lead it.

You'll be responsible for managing our localization and community operations across multiple global markets (e.g., Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Germany, and English-speaking regions).

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management & Strategy
    • Lead and grow the localization & community team, setting clear goals and performance metrics.
    • Build scalable workflows for localization QA, release timelines, community engagement, and feedback collection.
    • Allocate team resources based on project needs and market focus.
  • Localization Oversight
    • Oversee the quality and consistency of all localized versions across supported markets.
    • Partner with product and publishing teams to align localization with release schedules.
    • Maintain a localization playbook and ensure process improvements over time.
  • Community & Player Operations
    • Supervise player engagement activities, ensuring local teams respond to player questions, organize events, and build community trust.
    • Analyze community sentiment and player feedback to inform publishing and product decisions.
    • Ensure content moderation, tone, and messaging are consistent with brand guidelines across markets.
  • Market Intelligence & Localization Insights
    • Stay up to date on cultural trends, player preferences, and local competitor strategies in each target region.
    • Bring market insights back to internal teams to inform product positioning, creative strategy, and operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Serve as the go-to liaison between localization, product, publishing, and operations teams.
    • Collaborate with marketing on regional campaigns and creative localization.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in localization, community management, or international publishing in the gaming or app industry.
  • 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of international markets, with specific experience in at least one or more of: Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Germany, or global English-speaking regions.
  • Passion for games, digital products, and international growth.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Passionate about games, with a keen interest in the gaming industry.
