Languages are key to our mission of bringing the world closer together. The Meta family of apps is currently available in 100+ languages and we are adding many more. Over 70% of people use our products in a language other than English, and ~90% are outside of North America. As a Localization Program Manager, you will drive product teams to deliver a great user experience to our international audience.

**Localization Program Manager Responsibilities**:

- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to launch successful localized products
- Design and implement efficient and scalable end-to-end localization frameworks for multiple products and diverse content types across the Meta family of apps
- Guide product teams across the Meta family of apps to ensure localizability best practices are followed to minimize downstream issues and decrease cost and time-to-market for the localized versions
- Proactively identify and prioritize technical and process issues that affect localized product relevancy, quality, and functionality
- Partner with vendors to ensure that the right resources are in place and all deliveries are completed at the expected standards

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in localization, or equivalent project management or program management experience
- BA/BS or 2+ years equivalent work experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management
- Experience communicating across a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international offices
- Experience processing and analyzing complex data sets, and interpreting them to make business decisions
- Skilled in building and optimizing complex workflows
- Understanding of how to drive results in cross-functional teams
- Track record of stay focused, prioritizing and creating structure across large, ambiguous programs and setting goals for successful product launches

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of additional languages other than English
- Exposure to SQL, analytics tools, or a coding language
- Thorough understanding of translation technologies like translation memories, machine translation, and CAT tools
- Familiarity with internationalization standards such as Unicode and CLDR
- Experience working with localization vendors
