We are seeking anExecutive/Senior Assistant, BusinessOffice
The ideal candidate willhave a high level of integrity and professionalism in all tasks,and will demonstrate strong curiosity and a desire for continuouslearning and development. He/she shall also be comfortable workingin a dynamic environment with limitedsupervision.
Candidates must becomfortable working on a shift basis and commit to thefollowing:
- Monday toThursday, working 9-hour shifts (8am to 6pm or 11am to 9pm), asrostered), with a mandatory 1-hour break in between.
- Friday, working 8-hour shifts (8am to 5pm or 12pm to 9pm,as rostered), with a mandatory 1-hour break in between.
- To be on-call on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) and PublicHolidays for deployments to other locations whennecessary.
- Dynamic on-site working venue,being deployed to various locations should the need arises,including our clinics and mobileevents.
This role reports directly to theSenior Manager, AncillaryServices
A summaryof the key responsibilities are asfollows:
- Accuratelysubmit necessary medical claims via national insurance, third partyadministrator and DA platforms, while liaising with relevantparties to address any claims issues and ensure timelyreimbursement.
- Manage and track impairment forservices rendered that cannot be claimed from insurance, ensuringaccurate reporting and prompt follow-up action wherenecessary.
- Assist with billing processes,including keeping track of amounts due and following up onoutstanding payments.
- Design, maintain andupdate internal tracking and monitoring systems for improvedefficiency.
- Assist in generating and sendingof medical reports to clients, ensuring timely and accurateuploading to DA platforms.
- Be rotated tovarious work locations within General Health Services (GHS) tosupport day-to-day operations as needed, including:
- Physical clinics: Handle registration of patients,schedule medical appointments, dispense medication and consumables,payment collection and discharging.
- Mobileclinic:
- Liaise with clients to fulfil theirhome-based healthcare services needs with DA.
- Assist with preparatory work and on the day operationsfor on-site health-screening events.
- Assist with logistics handling across GHSdivision including liaising on the delivery of medication topatients, stock take, organizing and restocking of drugs andconsumables and any other items required.
- Identify, recommend, and implement workflowimprovements to enhance operational efficiency of the BusinessOffice team.
- Train junior staff members,ensuring they are equipped with necessary knowledge and skills toperform their duties effectively.
- Responsiblefor self-development by attending in-house courses during workingor non-working hours.
- To carry out any otherduties and responsibilities as assigned by thesupervisor/manager.
- Meticulous and akeen eye for details
- Computer literate withbasic proficiency in using emails and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)and Google Sheets.
- Good working knowledge ofPlato is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt to afast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and collaborativemindset.
- Comfortable working independently ondaily tasks and taking initiative when required.
- Strong team player with the ability to workcollaboratively with team members.
- Experiencein a tech start-up and high-growth environment in aplus.
- Fresh graduates are welcome toapply.
- Additional requirements for the seniorposition:
- 1-2 years of healthcare experienceis preferred.
- Proven track record in customerservice.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiencyin Google Suite or Microsoft Suite applications, including GoogleSheets and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of medicalinsurance processes and national claim procedures isadvantageous.
- Basic understanding of medicalterminology, medication, and consumables is beneficial.
