Roles & Responsibilities

On behalf of client (A reputable software company), we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR and Admin Generalist to support our client's growing team in the APAC region. The working location is in Bugis, and the role will be on 1 year contract and is renewable on yearly basis.

This role will be responsible for assisting hr operations, administrative functions, and compliance across multiple countries within the APAC region. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies across APAC countries.
  • Administer employee benefits, payroll coordination, and leave management.
  • Support talent acquisition and coordinate with hiring managers to fulfill workforce needs.
  • Assist in designing and implementing HR policies and programs tailored to the APAC region.
  • Handle employee relations, address grievances, and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives for employees.

Administrative Support:

  • Oversee office administration, ensuring smooth daily operations across regional offices.
  • Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, and facility maintenance.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, visa processing, and employee relocations when necessary.
  • Support event planning and company engagement activities.
  • Maintain HR records, documentation, and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably within the APAC region.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices in multiple APAC countries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and administrative tools.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (e.g., IHRP,SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Experience in a multinational or regional role supporting multiple APAC countries.
  • Familiarity with remote work environments and virtual collaboration tools.
  • SC or PR only.
