Job Description:

Support regional HR team to administer payroll, tax, labour cost etc related matter in all group companies and branches (Singapore / Indonesia / Vietnam / Thailand / Australia) in this region.

  • Work closely with vendors to process monthly payroll of all group companies. The operation includes but is not limited to data collection, review & verify the calculation report prepared by vendors, validating remuneration and benefits etc.
  • Work closely with vendors to process monthly, quarterly and annual personal income tax for all group companies. The operation includes but is not limited to data collection, review & verify the calculation report prepare by vendors, submission etc.
  • Liaise with HQ in Japan for expatriates' salary data collection, clarification etc for payroll and personal income tax operation.
  • Ensure timely salary payments and personal income tax submissions and payments without delay.
  • Coordinate with Finance & Accounting team and HQ to handle the cost sharing between HQ and regional office in Singapore and group companies in other countries.
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure compliance with all labor and tax laws in all group companies, alert management on upcoming statutory changes and highlight potential impacts on a timely basis.
  • Support HR manager to coordinate with other functions for the labour cost related data preparation, such as cash flow forecast, accrual, budgeting, audit etc.
  • Prepare quarterly headcount report in regional level.
  • Responsible for the statutory reports / survey submission in Singapore, support local HR team for the statutory report submission in each country.
  • Support and execute HR related initiatives.
  • Other duties assigned by the company.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resource management or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience including handling payroll and PIT for Vietnam or Indonesia or Thailand.
  • Experience of working at regional office with subsidiaries in SEA.
  • Good knowledge of local employment legislations and HR practices.
  • Independent, analytical, process-driven, well-organized and able to multi-task.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business level Japanese language skill is required to communicate with Japan HQ and payroll vendor, tax agency etc.
