Customer Service Officer

Provide patients a positive experience while they are being treated at our dental clinic and support the running of the practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all inbound telephone and email inquiries.
- Management of voice and handphone messages.
- Reminder calls for appointment confirmation.
- Scheduling and rescheduling of appointments for patients.
- Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate.
- Check patients’ medical history and drug allergies.
- Check for insurance coverage and intention to use insurance or government subsidies.
- Collects payment from patients, applies payments to patient accounts in the computer system, and reconciles daily cash reports.
- Locating patient files and cases.
- Prepare PowerPoint for doctor counseling.
- Process claims with insurance companies and government agencies.
- Liaising with dental labs for sending and receiving of cases.
- Recording of lab charges.
- Educate and teach patients on the correct use of braces and Invisalign.
- Other adhoc duties.
