Senior Business Development Manager

Our client is a premier integrated events company in Asia, specializing in conferences, exhibitions, incentives, cultural exchanges, and live shows. With a strong presence in Singapore, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Beijing, and Guangzhou, they deliver exceptional events for 10 to 5000 attendees. Their dedicated team excels in all aspects of event management, from sourcing and contracting to execution and reconciliation.
What you'll be doing?
- Develop strategies: Create and implement long-term plans to increase market share in existing and new markets.
- Conduct market research: Analyze competitors and identify marketing opportunities to support business growth.
- Build relationships: Establish and maintain excellent connections with new and existing customers.
- Generate business insights: Evaluate business opportunities and grow relationships with new clients.
- Create marketing strategies: Develop innovative approaches to acquire new clients and retain existing ones.
- Network and lead generation: Participate in industry events to expand your professional network and generate leads.
- Craft winning proposals: Contribute to tender submissions and develop compelling proposals for external parties.
- Develop marketing materials: Create brochures, presentations, and other communication tools for internal and external use.
- Monitor risks: Identify and assess potential risks across the company to ensure business continuity.
Who are they looking for?
- MICE industry experience: 2-4 years of sales experience with a proven track record in the MICE industry.
- Self-motivated professional: A driven individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
- New business hunter: Demonstrable experience in a B2B solutions-based environment with a focus on acquiring new clients.
- Stakeholder management skills: Ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of customers.
- Established network: Strong connections with clients, customers, and industry contacts at all levels.
- Complex sales expertise: Experience in navigating complex sales situations and consistently meeting Sales KPIs.
