Sales Engineer/Account Manager

Responsibilities
· Achieve monthly and annually sales target
· Identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
· Building new business relationships with potential clients
· Retain and grow existing accounts
· Periodic review of sales performance
· Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requested for proposals (RFPs)
· Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows and conferences
· Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process
· Conduct market research (e.g. Competitors’ Analysis, Potential Services, etc)
· Responsible for tender presentation/introduction of CANATEC services to the potential client
· Preparation of Pre-Tender Executive summary information and tender document for submission
· Prepare presentation slides for tender interviews
· Regional travel for securing of new businesses and product testing
· Any other Business Development related works that are delegated as and when required
· Generate monthly and annual sales report
Requirements
· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
· Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in CRAC unit, Air conditioning, Water Detection System and related field is required for this position
· Ability to develop good relationship with current and potential clients
· Self-motivated and passionate with positive attitude
· Good communication skills both written and verbal
· Able to work independently
· Must possess initiative, integrity and be able to manage work pressures
· Able to perform multi tasks
· Preferable candidate with network
