Regional HR Communications Specialist

The role will focus on HR Communications and Corporate Communications. The purpose of this role is to strengthen the Terumo brand and protect its reputation as a trusted company in Asia Pacific as well as worldwide, and to play a key role in continuing transformation of the company.
The purpose of the role will be to develop Communication strategies and programs to
- Continuously build and improve overall employee engagement and organization purpose in the Asia Pacific region
- Continuously build and improve leadership message and communications from TAPHQ to the entities
- Continuously build and improve Terumo brand to both internal and external stakeholders.
- On people and culture, the role is required to constantly challenge status quo, constantly think differently to improve engagement, and build a high performing organization
1. Internal Communication
- Lead communication and outreach initiatives, work closely with TAP Executive Leadership, TC Internal Communications team, and others throughout the company.
- To improve TAP HQ messaging and communication engagement with ALL Entity's Associates
- To improve TAP HQ positioning / messaging and communication engagement with TC Global Executive Leadership.
- Design and develop an Internal Communication strategy that is aligned with regional business priorities and objectives.
- Develops communication plans and outreach activities that integrates business/function strategy into employee communication.
- Provide communications support for executive communications and media relations, corporate initiatives and engagement campaigns
- Develop communication plan that integration Terumo Core Values and mission, translate that into employee activities/initiatives
2. Employer branding
- Design, develop and plan initiatives to support our organization purpose and drive employee engagement through initiatives as Employee Value Proposition and employee engagement strategy
- Externally, strategically position Terumo as employer of choice through strong and consistent communication message
- Responsible for the content and publication on TAP communications material such as newsletter, podcast, town hall, video scripts, speeches, collaterals etc.
3. Employee Engagement Champion
- Design and implement regular engagement and branding activities to improve employee sense of belonging
- Work with Employees Engagement Committee to create Terumo as a Great Place to Work
- Support any engagement plans (For example, Patient's Day, Family Day CSR and other engagement activities and communication.
- Be the Champion for APAC DE&I initiatives
4. Strategic and Corporate Branding
- Design & roll out regional branding strategy and monitor the local implementation at each country in alignment with TC's Group Brand policy and VI Guidelines.
- Plan and promote Group Brand Identity (Group Mission, Core Values and Group Code of Conduct).
5. Social Media Governance and Management
- Promote compliant usage of regional social media accounts aligned with TC's social media Policy
- Design and implement engaging social media content with entities and businesses to build a strong and positive Terumo digital presence
6. Media relations management
- Develop and manage media campaigns for major APAC events.
- In consult with Corporate Communication Teams in TC, identify media opportunities and lead media activities in APAC
7. Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager
