Mid-career: Business Development Manager

This position reports to the director. Your function will include among others the following activities:
- The Business Development Manager will be involved in the Business Strategy in the target client. Sourcing of new projects. Manage a portfolio of clients and project pipeline. The Business Development Manager fully complies with the laws, regulations and business rules.
Individual to be involved in:
1. Compliance with Local Regulations:
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (LTA, MTA, CASE) for used car sales, vehicle inspections, COE renewals, and PARF rebates.
2. Vehicle Registration and Transfer of Ownership:
• Coordinate vehicle registration and ownership transfers with the LTA, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
3. Inventory and Stock Management:
• Monitor and manage vehicle stock, maintain accurate records of service histories, logbooks, and vehicle conditions.
4. Customer Service and Communication:
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, provide information on vehicle availability, financing options, and post-sales support.
5. Financial Management:
• Oversee daily financial transactions, vehicle financing, and coordinate with financial institutions for credit applications and payment plans.
6. Coordination with Workshops and Service Teams:
• Ensure vehicles meet roadworthiness standards through inspections and maintenance by internal or partner workshops.
7. Vendor and Supplier Management:
• Manage relationships with insurance providers, warranty companies, and other external vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and services.
8. Marketing and Promotional Support:
• Assist in promotional activities, including updating online listings and analyzing sales data to inform marketing strategies.
9. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Generate reports on sales, inventory, and customer satisfaction to provide insights for decision-making and improvement.
10. Business Development:
• Actively seek out partnerships and new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients and enhancing customer engagement.

2. Business Needs Analysis: To learn how to priortize, identify and evaluate needs
3. Integrity: Technical Expertise. To learn how to utilize systems
4. Project Management: To be able to effectively manage and co-ordinate multiple projects
5. Time management: To be able to prioritize and allocate time according to level of urgency to meet all deadlines.
6. Problem Solving Skills: Developing creative responses to deal with unexpected changes
