Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to join our Mid Market Corporate Client Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, bancassurance, and foreign exchange.

  • Develop new borrowing relationships by soliciting warm lead referrals from existing borrowers and/or Relationship Managers' contacts;
  • Proactively manage, supervise, and monitor existing borrowing accounts to achieve optimum utilization rates and profitability;
  • Timely submit credit reviews, being alert to credit deterioration or improvement, and take timely action (including elevation to senior bankers and credit);
  • Implement and execute Mid Cap business strategy to increase market share and achieve targets consistent with Mid Cap revenue, Return on Equity (ROE), and Cost/Income ratio targets, as well as risk control and compliance.
Requirements
  • University degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience in sales within the commercial banking space, handling midcap corporates;
  • Good knowledge of various corporate and investment banking products, including trade finance/structured trade finance products;
  • Good understanding of credit risks and ability to independently conduct discussions with credit/risk management teams;
  • Strong sense of commitment and accountability, possessing a business-focused mindset, self-motivated to deliver work of the highest standard; energetic, service-oriented, and highly motivated.
