Business Development Manager for Mid-Market Customers

About the Role
Figma is a fast-growing design and collaboration platform seeking a skilled Mid-Market Account Executive to join our dynamic team. As a trusted advisor to our existing and potential customers, you will play a critical role in driving meaningful relationships that add value to the customer experience and revenue to our bottom line.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of creatives, engineers, marketers, and business professionals who are passionate about making design accessible to all. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of closing complex sales cycles and value-selling against business pain and initiatives.
- Build a strong sales pipeline while exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Figma's Mid-Market accounts
- Participate in on-the-ground events to promote Figma to existing and new customers
- Help build the foundation and processes for customer-facing teams at Figma to support our SEA & Indian customer base
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of SaaS sales experience in a fast-growing organization
- Proven ability to close complex sales cycles and value-sell against business pain and initiatives
- Ability to prioritize competing demands from customers and balance their needs against those of the business
- A real entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, experience selling to technical audiences, UX/UI design principles, and collaboration tools are a plus. Additionally, having a proven experience using a sales methodology, such as Command of the Message or MEDDICC, is highly desirable.
