The CIP Division has the unique role to create, develop and build long-lasting relationships with the public and private-sector partners. We cultivate these partnerships to develop mutually beneficial collaborations that will support HPB’s priority programmes and strategies.
This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to engage and establish partnerships with a diverse spectrum of organisations. It will sharpen your competency in developing and executing meaningful partnership propositions, integrating partnerships into HPB’s holistic programmes, marketing, and communications efforts.

To be effective, you need to be able to work independently and yet be a dynamic team player. You should possess strong relationship-building skills to develop win-win collaboration with targeted partners, possess excellent project execution skills, and be ready to effect change.

You will:

  • Develop a sound understanding of the assigned portfolio of partners in the public and private sectors, and implement engagement strategies with these partners
  • Manage strategic initiatives by identifying current or new partners who are able to support key HPB’s programmes (eg. health promoting malls, healthy ageing, substance abuse, health screening, mental wellness, and communicable disease) targeting the general population, and also for the niche segments
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (incl. programme, outreach, legal and finance divisions) to scope, develop and/or align partnership initiatives by bridging partner and HPB’s interest to reach mutually beneficial collaborative agreement
  • Actively participate in workstream/workgroup meetings, and proactively share partners’ challenges or feedback to help facilitate the successful launch of each project, and ensure that the planned deliverables and timelines can be achieved by the end of the project
  • Plan ahead to mitigate potential roadblocks during the implementation phase via close coordination and managing the expectations of affected stakeholders
  • Track effectiveness of partners’ participation via the timely implementation of relevant processes (eg. monitoring the lead/lag indicators, conducting After Action Review by end of programme with partners) to provide feedback to the programme owners
  • Continuously seek to improve processes related to partner acquisition/retention, cross-selling of programmes, project timeline management and fulfilment of contractual obligations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications, or other related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in partnerships management, business development in a sales or marketing-related role
  • Proven track record of building strong customer, partner and/or stakeholder relationships
  • Proven track record in executing mid to large scale programmes and initiatives; and demonstrated competency in project management, project operations and launches.
  • Creative, savvy and results-focused in establishing and sustaining partnerships and possess good business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Possess strong verbal, written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good leadership and team-building skills to engage, motivate and work with team members.
  • Bilingual capability is preferred.
