Our company is looking for a compliance administrator to provide global support in the compliance department. We work as a gatekeeper in preventing money laundering, corruption and the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT). As the client onboarding and compliance administrator, you’ll play an important role in reviewing new and existing account openings.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure performance of KYC to the standards expected and in accordance with the Firm’s AML and KYC Policies and Procedures
  • Includes reviewing and checking for completeness of CDD information and supporting documentations for new and existing customers (periodic review) and performing risk assessments in line with the Firm’s AML and KYC Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage KYC / CDD trigger events and reviews and ensure appropriate actions are taken in accordance with the AML and KYC Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform name screening and searches on prospective customers and existing customer base.
  • Review and check for completeness of maintenance of static information for batch screening including clearing of alerts.
  • Maintenance of customer lists and records
  • Coordinate and liaise across businesses and compliance units for timely completion of Periodic Review.
  • Able to identify compliance risk and mitigate effectively Provide proactive support and advice to the business and other functions on AML/KYC related issues
  • Takes initiative in identifying and driving opportunities to streamline/enhance team efficiency
  • Participate on compliance and regulatory driven projects when required
  • Other ad-hoc administrative support as necessary

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree holder in any relevant discipline
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in KYC/client onboarding related role or with an administrative background
  • Fresh will also be considered
  • Self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, well-organized, meticulous, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Training will be provided
