Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Join us as a Service Sales Specialist for the Motion Business area where you will be providing great customer service together with product and system technical support. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for service sales for ABB Motor & Variable Speed Drives in Singapore.

Reporting to the Service Manager and this position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities :
- Being responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for service-related products within your assigned territory (Motors & Generators and Variable Speed Drives)
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans aligned with our overall service strategy
- Building and nurturing long-term, trust-based relationships with customers
- Identifying and resolving customer issues, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Processing, coordinating, and following up on job orders with the operations team, ensuring on-time delivery as per customer schedules
- Collaborating with the service sales team to achieve collective sales targets
- Identifying and implementing ways to improve sales processes and workflows, maximizing team efficiency and productivity
- Assisting in gathering and analyzing market intelligence related to service offerings.Sharing insights and reporting with the sales team to inform strategic decision-making

Qualifications for the role
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical / Electronic engineering
  • Highly sales driven with at least 3-5 years of working experience in engineering/service sales
  • Team player & being able to coordinate with the various teams function
  • Experience on Motor/Variable Speed Drive servicing will be beneficial
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
