Who We're Looking For:
As the Finance Controller & Admin Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our financial operations and nurturing a positive workplace environment. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a key role in guiding our company towards financial stability and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional with a strong interest in finance and people management, with around 4-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and HR roles, ideally within a startup environment.
Finance Controller Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting:
- Supervise all accounting functions, such as Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and more.
- Maintain precise transaction records and reconcile bank statements.
- Manage invoicing and handle customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and contracts.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and assess financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Ensure timely monthly financial reporting and provide support for year-end financial statement preparation.
- Coordinate regulatory reporting and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Help develop annual budgets and forecasts, aligning financial objectives with business goals.
- Conduct variance analysis and monitor performance to offer strategic recommendations.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Supervise cash flow forecasts and enhance cash utilization to bolster business expansion.
- Internal Controls and Audit Coordination:
- Set up and maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits to ensure a seamless process.
Admin Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee office facilities to guarantee a secure and efficient work atmosphere.
- Manage vendor associations and inventory control.
- Coordinate company events and meetings.
- Ensure HR compliance and handle employee documentation, work permit matters, payroll, and claims.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- 3-4 years of combined experience in finance, accounting, and Office Management roles, with exposure to startup environments preferred.
- Strong grasp of financial principles, office management best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and office management tools.
