We are seeking an Academy Executive to become part of our expanding full-time team.

At Halogen Foundation, our mission is to motivate and empower a new generation of young individuals to lead themselves and others effectively. We take this mission seriously with our staff too.

As an Academy Executive, your role involves laying the groundwork to make a tangible impact through character education programmes. You will be pivotal in overseeing the key programmes we operate, collaborating with community partners and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of initiatives that promote youth development. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage programmes directly and contribute to the Academy strategy to guarantee top-notch training quality aligned with Halogen's goals
  • Conduct training workshops in schools and Halogen training facilities for the youth we serve
  • Maintain training excellence by overseeing all factors that affect a training programme, from materials preparation to personnel readiness
  • Foster strong relationships with programme stakeholders, corporate volunteers, and partners to deliver a quality experience with Halogen
  • Enhance capabilities within the Academy Operations team and become an expert in programme delivery

A Week in the Life
  • Manage schools and partners to ensure exceptional programme delivery as per agreed expectations
  • Execute youth development programmes in schools and organizations across Singapore
  • Collaborate with various teams within Halogen to establish strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Innovate processes to streamline programme operations while catering to diverse audiences

What You'll Accomplish
By the end of your initial month,
  • Gain a deep understanding of the charity organization, social service sector, and our training & development programmes
  • Formulate relationships with team members and grasp their roles within the organization
  • Set clear goals for short- and long-term objectives
By the end of your sixth month,
  • Lead Halogen's training programmes effectively
  • Manage key stakeholders involved in your assigned programme
  • Foster collaboration across departments and understand team dynamics within the Academy
By the end of your first year,
  • Become an expert in delivering exceptional programmes to our partners
  • Serve as a role model in the youth development field
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships, contributing significantly to our youth development initiatives
